Academic Structure:

Sanskriti University, Uttar Pradesh, sponsored by Sanskriti Society for Education Research and Development, Delhi, located on Delhi-Mathura highway, has been set up by Govt of Uttar Pradesh under section 2(f) of the UGC, Act,1956 vide Sanskriti University Chhata Mathura Uttar Pradesh act 2016.

 

The University is conducting Under Graduate/ Post Graduate programmes in various diversified areas of emerging technology, Management, Arts, Medical and Sciences. Now it is becoming a center of professional excellence in this region offering various courses in the field of Engineering, Management, HM, and Biotechnology with an unwavering commitment towards quality education.

 

Academic Curriculum 

 A dynamic semester-based courseware created by integrating the traditional syllabus with the latest trends across disciplines to suit the current industry requirements.

A multi-stage process of evaluation and appraisal involving a bi-annual review by the Area Expert Committee, the Board of Studies and the Academic Council

Evaluation and achievement of course-objectives, based on feedback reports on the placements, employability of the graduating students, developments in technology, and statutory compliance of various bodies.  It have the following features:

·         Well versed in applications of the principles of physical, mathematical and natural sciences for the purposes of engineering design

·         An equally important objective is to develop the ability of critical thinking,  communication skills, Life Skill, Aptitude building    and soft skill to enable student for effective work in multidisciplinary teams to solve societal problems.

·         Facilitation of the achievement of student learning outcomes and defined Program Outcomes are not compromised in any way.

·         Learning and retention of information must remain a high priority.

·         Use of modern computational and simulation tools are taught side-by-side with analytical approaches

·         Flipped class room model and internet resources are used extensively to enhance student learning and set them on a course for continuous learning

·         Every engineering course is open-ended design, reliability, risk assessment, cost-estimation oriented projects/problems.

·         New technologies such as cloud computing, business analytics, open source software, Internet of things (IOT), CAD/CAM CIM are included in the curriculum.

Learning by doing is an essential part of many courses, particularly if you are studying a science, engineering degree. These sessions aim to give you an insight into a working environment, knowledge of experimental methods and techniques and an understanding of academic material taught on the course.

Problem-based learning (PBL) or enquiry-based Learning (EBL)groups are presented with a real-life problem or scenario and you will need to work as a team to investigate potential solutions while identifying what skills or knowledge you need to effectively manage the situation. 

 

Examination, Evaluation & Assessment

The University follows a system of Evaluation which is a combination of continuous and comprehensive evaluation followed by semester end examinations. In the continuous & comprehensive assessment, the students are evaluated on class/ tutorial participation, assignment work, class tests, sessionals/ internal examinations, quizzes, projects, seminar, presentations etc. as defined in the course syllabus/course plan. There are two internal Examinations of 1 ½ hours duration in every semester. End Semester examinations are held at the end of each semester. Sanskriti University follows Absolute Grading as well as Relative Grading depending upon the student strength in a particular programme & batch. Students are required to maintain minimum SGPA & CGPA to pass a semester/promote to the next semester and qualify for Degree/Diploma

 

Mentor – Mentee system

Sanskriti University has created a unique Mentor – Mentee system that ensures a close & continuous monitoring and interaction between the faculty and students. Under this system, the University will assign about 20 students per faculty, who will act as their Mentor and will guide, counsel and encourage students in achieving academic excellence, personal growth & development Their experience will help you gain the confidence and skills you need to be a corporate success.

Rules For Change Branch:
A student is eligible to apply for change of branch at the end of the first year only. Change of the branch will be permitted strictly in the order of merit as determined by CGPA at the end of the first year, provided the following conditions are satisfied:

1.     CGPA at the end of the first academic session > 7.50

2.      There should be no back log/carry over papers in the First year

3.      The branch to which change is sought, should have vacancy in the II year, i.e. _should not exceed the sanctioned strength

4.      The strength of the branch from which transfer is being sought, does not fall below 90% of the existing strength.
Faculty:
The teachers appointed in the Sanskriti University, Mathura are highly competent of deliver high quality lectures in class rooms and demonstration in laboratories. All faculty members are highly proficient, qualified, experienced and devoted. They mentor the students so that every educational and non-educational problem faced by every student is satisfactorily resolved.
Facilities:
The University has State of the Art infrastructural facilities in the Campus. The Class rooms are well equipped with the modern teaching equipment, and complemented with AV systems. The University has well equipped laboratories, Library, Hostel, Transport, Mess and Canteen facilities. It has tie up with the Multi specialties Hospital for any medical emergency. It has both indoor and out door sports facilities along with gymnasium in the Campus for the Students.
Student Life at Institute:
It's a diverse community of students at Sanskriti University, and the activities on offer are as diverse and varied too. Student Affairs

All activity related to extracurricular programs, forums, clubs, community service, and entrepreneurship cell and students council are managed by the student affairs department. Counselors are available to guide students and share personal issues.   

Housing & Dining

Students  from  across  tile  country  and  neigh boring countries live in hostels, which are close to' home away from home'. Nutritious  and hygienic meals are served. There are separate hostels for boys and Girls on the campus and off the campus, with all facilities for study and recreation. Besides hostel dining facility, there are food outlets and cafes too, open 12 to 15 hours a day.   In case of any emergency, Sanskriti has tied up with  a leading hospital "Nayati" for immediate and preferential treatment.

Cosmopolitan  Culture  - 

Sanskriti  is  proud  of  composition  of  its  students  as students of  as many  as 14 states study in  the  University.  Besides, students from Nepal, Bhutan and other SAARC countries have chosen Sanskriti for higher studies. The Placement Cell at Sanskriti University ensures that every eligible student gets campus placement & the deserving candidates can get a decent platform to start their career. The cell also ensures that the students are properly groomed and properly instructed for improved performance during interviews. To ensure proper grooming, the members of the cell regularly contact faculty members, corporate trainers involved in personality development and give them necessary feed-back received from different organizations for taking necessary corrective actions.

The T&P cell also ensures that the placements are of the right quality. The T&P cell aims to provide placement to 100% eligible students.
