INTRODUCTION
CSAB-2023 shall conduct a separate CSAB-Supernumerary Round of Counseling, based on the JEE (Main) rank, for admission to supernumerary seats in NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and SVNIT Surat for candidates belonging to Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. CSAB-Supernumerary Round will commence after the completion of CSAB-Special Rounds. The details of the Business Rules of the CSAB-Supernumerary round are available on the CSAB website (https://csab.nic.in). The details of available supernumerary seats under various reservation categories in NITs mentioned above will be available after the CSAB-Special Round and just before the start of Registration for the CSAB-Supernumerary Round. The Eligibility Criteria, Process of Registration, Choice Filling, Choice Locking, Seat Allotment, Payment of Fees, etc., are different from those of JoSAA/CSAB rounds. The candidates are advised to carefully go through the Business Rules and Process Flow of the CSAB-Supernumerary rounds available on the CSAB website.
Refunds for all those candidates who had applied or have been applying chargeback against their payment, have been withheld till outcome of the chargeback. Henceforth, all eligible candidates are advised not to raise chargeback.
